Title: Collections Associate
Location: Peel Region, ON
Length of Assignment: Temporary - Permanent (Hybrid)
Salary: $20.00 - $22.00/hour
Our client in Peel Region, ON is actively looking for a Collections Associate to join their team.
Job Description:
- Daily collections and follow up of problem receivables
- Dealings with customers, branch administrators and managers
- Extensive phone and computer work
- Investigating short payments
- Balancing contract amounts
- Reconciling accounts
- Various other projects and tasks as required
- Data Entry, minimum 60 words per minute
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years credit and collections experience
- Knowledge of accounting principals
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills - ability to effectively deal with both external and internal customers
- Assertive, with a positive, take-charge attitude
- PC fluency focusing on Microsoft Office, Dynamics, Excel is a must, with the ability to maintain accurate and timely records
