About the role
Summary: Reporting to the Back Room Department Manager, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments
Responsibilities:
- Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
- Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
- Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
- Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela’s Canada product
- Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
- Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
- Assist with merchandise purges when necessary
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
- Customer service oriented team player
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise
- Steel toes work boots are required
- Must be able to obtain a PAL license
