Summary
We are seeking a Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Dr. Sana-Ara Ahmed Professional Medical Corp. In this role, you will contribute to our multi-modal approach to chronic pain management, providing psychological support and interventions to enhance patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients experiencing chronic pain.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the psychological aspects of pain management.
- Provide therapy and counseling to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive care strategies for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Engage in research activities related to chronic pain management and psychological interventions.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Registered with the appropriate regulatory body in Canada.
- Experience in patient care, particularly within a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pain management is essential.
- Strong research skills and experience working with children is an asset.
