Role Description:
We are looking for a Power BI Developer with 2–3 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for business users. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of data modeling, DAX, and Power BI service features, and be comfortable working with multiple data sources and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
- Build and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop.
- Write efficient DAX expressions to implement calculated columns, measures, and KPIs.
- Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, SharePoint, etc.) and manage scheduled refreshes in Power BI Service.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions.
- Implement row-level security (RLS) and user-level data access where necessary.
- Participate in data quality validation, performance tuning, and optimization of reports and datasets.
- Maintain version control and documentation for dashboards and data models.
- Stay up-to-date with Power BI features and best practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI report development and data visualization.
- Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M).
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Power BI Service : workspace management, gateway configuration, data refresh, sharing.
- Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
