We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the safety and security of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of alarm systems mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read schematics and blueprints. The Alarm Technician will work with various security technologies, including Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV), to provide comprehensive security solutions.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems according to specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation.
- Conduct routine inspections of alarm systems to detect issues or malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to alarm systems.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Provide training to clients on the proper use of their alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Skills
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
- Strong electrical knowledge related to alarm systems.
- Familiarity with Alarm systems like Dsc, Dsc Neo, alarm.com and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) Hikvision.
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Basic computer networking skills for system integration.
- Strong problem-solving skills to detect issues promptly.
- Capability to build custom solutions based on client requirements.
