About the role
On behalf our client, Procom is seeking a application support specialist for a 12 month assignment in Burnaby, BC. This is a Hybrid role with 2 days in office per week .
Application Support Job Details The App Support Specialist monitors and maintains the OpenWay Collection Engine (OWCE) application and the Certicom Security Appliances (DKUS/SES) and supports implementation of related fixes, minor enhancements, and upgrades to enable business operations and projects in achieving the client's organizational objectives.
Application Support Required Skills
- Experience with network concepts such as routing, broadcast domains, firewall, IPv4/IPv6.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent diploma/certification.
- Must have work experience with Linux/Unix OS and excellent technical skills in troubleshooting
- A minimum 2 yeasrs years of IT production support and/or upgrade experience with enterprise application software, or equivalent.
