About the role
We are looking for a Product Manager , reporting into the VP of Product Management in MedTech in Toronto. This role is responsible for aligning development and operational objectives to the product goals, vision and strategy.
The role will involve driving progress across various functional workstreams to deliver end data product and application product. Includes understanding, interpreting and shaping product requirements and setting priorities and direction for operations and development across all workstreams.
This role requires a highly organized individual with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work with a variety of different functions (e.g. developers, data architects and engineers, operations etc.). Data science experience preferred with ability to interface well with technical development teams.
About You – Education, Experience, Skills, And Accomplishments
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience, preferably with a data science background.
- Minimum of 5 years experience with 3 years of navigating fragmented data landscapes
- A strong technical background coupled with data solutions and an understanding of how data is leveraged to drive business outcomes.

- Experience understanding complex and disparate data assets
- Background using AI/ML tools and techniques
What You Will Be Doing In This Role
- Shape the product strategy and roadmap for Medtech products.
- Understand and use a variety of big data assets that provide signals on what is happening in the medical device/technology and healthcare space (including, but not limited to claims data, purchasing/sales data, import data, other product-level, procedural-level, facility/provider-level data) for existing products as well as new products.
- Understand industry need by specific personas, and shape product vision and execution strategy accordingly
- Communicate the product strategy and requirements to key stakeholders.
- Bring teams together to define and implement product features and translate them into requirements.
- Ability to work well with internal teams, including developers, engineers, architects, quality assurance, and operations.
- Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
- Define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
- Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

Hours of Work This is a full-time permanent position in our Toronto office working primarily EST hours (2-3 days per week in office, rest of week remote).
