Account Executive**, Communications & Public Relations**

Roles and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, External Communications & Public Relations, you will be a key player in achieving Transdev’s business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:

Job Description

Ensure day-to-day management of social media (editorial calendar, visual creation, community animation, monitoring and engagement).

Participate in the planning, organization and logistics of internal and external events (press conferences, inaugurations, corporate and other events).

Help oversee sponsorships, partnerships and stakeholder relations (community organizations, chambers of commerce, municipalities, etc.).

Design and write various content (press releases, newsletters, articles, social publications, speeches, etc.).

Collaborate on the implementation of integrated communications campaigns, including traditional and digital media strategies.

Coordinate proactive press relations (prepare spokespersons, write Q&A, manage media requests).

Conduct media and sector monitoring, analyze spin-offs and recommend adjustments to strategies.

Contribute to brand image management and consistency of tone in all external communications.

Work closely with local, national and international teams, as well as external suppliers (agencies, graphic designers, printers, etc.).

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.

2 to 3 years' relevant professional experience in communications or public relations.

Agency experience is an asset.

Excellent writing and editing skills in French and English.

Good mastery of social media platforms (Meta Suite, LinkedIn, YouTube, X) and related management tools (e.g. Adobe Suite, Canva, Photoshop, etc.)

Some knowledge of media relations practices in the Quebec and Canadian media landscape.

Creative, rigorous, autonomous, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Good project management skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong interest in sustainable mobility, public transportation and societal issues.

Palpable interest in public and government affairs (optional).
