Security Guard Part Time
About the role
CASUAL PART TIME SECURITY GUARDS
Range 20.10 to 23.00/hr
We are looking for a part time Casual security guard to assist filling in shifts at a site close to Kitchener near the airport.
Primary shifts are 5am to 9am and 130pm to 530pm
Requires guards who are capable to not only work the above shift times but also fill in for other site shifts to cover vacations ( 3p-11p and 11p-7a )
Duties include
- checking exterior doors
- parking lot control and directing employees not to park in restricted areas
- assisting to direct staff to follow walkways in a safe manner
- walking patrols of the compound
- checking trailer temperatures and fuel levels
- writing reports both online and manually
- operating a truck scale
- recording incoming and outgoing trucks and inputting information
- monitor CCTV systems
Requirements
- MUST HAVE A VEHICLE ( If you do not, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.
- Minimum 1 year security experience
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is essential.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively in emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
