Overview:
Due to its expansion, a multi-regional investment platform is hiring a Finance Manager. The ideal candidate will play a critical and exciting role in the successful day to day finance operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring integrity and timeliness of financial data.
- Produce and assess regular financial reports and regulatory submissions.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring fiscal performance against targets.
- Act as primary contact for external financial stakeholders (i.e. auditors).
- Handle treasury activities, optimizing cash flow and bank interactions.
- Contribute financial and tax expertise to product development and strategic projects.
- Develop and enforce robust financial governance and internal controls.
- Mitigate financial risks and maintain full regulatory compliance.
- Support the financial aspects of new product pricing and accounting.
- Mentor and expand a highly effective finance department.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years prior finance experience in the financial brokerage or banking space
- Knowledge of IFRS and regulatory reporting standards.
- CPA is advantageous but not a hard requirement. Educational background in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge & passion for the finance regulatory and technical space.
