Accounts Payable Specialist

An exciting opportunity has become available to join our growing business in Canada in the role of Accounts Payable Specialist. Joining a friendly and supportive team the ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Prepare all journal entries
• Process all accounts payable payments
• Prepare weekly cash flow updates to corporate
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Manage corporate expense accounts
• Generate payments (cheques & EFT)
• Contribute to financial reporting requirements ad hoc
• Support annual audit process
• Support stakeholders within the business for invoice approvals
• Commodity tax returns (GST/PST etc.)
• Work with the finance team to contribute in any other assigned task
Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum of three years experience working in accounts payable
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient user of finance software packages and excel
