Position Overview:
WELL Health is growing rapidly, and our marketing team needs to meet the demands of our business. We are hunting for a self-motivated, experienced and passionate Social Media Performance Strategist and Manager to join our nimble, “can-do” marketing team. The successful candidate will work and collaborate as a part boutique-sized, passionate, and highly capable team of 9.
The ideal candidate is a team player who is passionate about their work and able to work in a self-directed manner based on agreed-upon goals and objectives. You will proactively suggest better ways to go about attaining objectives and be fully accountable for your area of expertise and contribution. You are a great communicator, have excellent writing and communication skills, and can multi-task and context switch, all while managing deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to make a noticeable impact on the business and grow their career and their role over time. This is a marketing leadership role. This candidate will define social media marketing strategy, work with the team to develop, implement, measure, and optimize paid and organic initiatives. Collaboration with our marketing coordinator, marketing account and brand strategist, in-house designer, content marketers, and web developers will be required.
What you will be doing:
• Is comfortable and motivated by the details described here and is confident using the toolsets described below.
• You have experience doing needs analysis, defining objectives and strategies, then implementing, measuring and optimizing marketing strategies with performance in mind.
• You are a balance between artist, strategist, and performance marketer.
• You can manage both paid and organic campaigns from start to finish. From working with accounts to analyze needs, develop strategies, define KPI goals and objectives, and planning new campaigns to implementing campaigns and monitoring ongoing results, you own the entire process and are WELL’s go-to subject matter expert on all things social media (and more?).
• You have prior agency experience or a high degree of interest in managing multiple accounts and have the ability to work efficiently while meeting and improving key KPIs.
• You can objectively make decisions based on data and guide a business and a team in how best to grow- whether it’s measuring paid, organic or other digital analytics.
• You are an expert in the field of digital results-driven marketing, obsessed with quantitative results and optimizing.
• You are up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Social and are constantly learning.
• You are confident, tactful and have entrepreneur-level independence when speaking to account representatives and are comfortable developing business cases, budgets, and reporting to leadership.
• You have superb time management skills and meet deadlines.
• You have a deep understanding of how to analyze different audiences, their needs, and how to communicate effectively through social media including paid.
• You can work autonomously but also works well as a team and are good with giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced and nimble environment while producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
You have:
• 5+ years' experience overall in marketing
• 5+ years’ experience with social media.
• Comfortable with Meta, YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, etc. on both paid and organic
• Considerable experience with analytics & tracking tools.
• Experience with Influencer style campaigns is a bonus.
• Extremely technically and also a highly strategic thinker.
• Must be able to be tactical and ready willing and able to get “hands dirty” in the work. WELL, is culturally a flat organization and everyone including senior leadership is involved in “doing the work”.
• Excellent English copywriting skills and strong ability to write sales copy for ads.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
