About the role

A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Quality Professional with expertise in CSA N299 standards to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our Management System procedures and practices comply with CSA N299 requirements, as well as other relevant industry standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS, conducting audits, and collaborating with various departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Contribute to the development, establishment and enforcement of the Nuclear Quality Management System
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement; Work closely with Supplier Quality to review and maintain supplier data in the Approved Supplier Database, while monitoring vendor performance; Support the independent review of purchasing documentation, including final review of supplier documentation
  • Conduct regular quality audits (CSA N299, ISO 9001), maintain detailed documentation of quality activities and audit results, ensuring accuracy and accessibility, and prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement
  • Track Supplier Corrective actions, to ensure accuracy and completion
  • Coordinate and support RCA’s raised through internal or external audits and nonconformances
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement; Provide training and support to employees on CSA N299 procedures, processes, and best practices.

What You Bring

  • A relevant degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, Procurement, or a related field
  • 3 or more years of experience working in quality or procurement, preferably working with CSA N299 Quality Standard. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience in root cause analysis is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Arriba and quality management software

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
