Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring patient identification, safety and preparation are correct prior to testing while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Performs all cardiac testing techniques including Electrocardiogram (ECG) testing, stress testing, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring and ambulatory BP monitoring as per compliance Company’s P&P manual guidelines.
- Responsible for inserting various types of intravenous lines and monitoring the IV treatments to watch for complications as required.
- Performs Nuclear stress testing on treadmill as well as using pharmacological interventions including Persantine (Dipyridamole), dobutamine, adenosine, etc. as well as administering aminophylline as required under clinical supervision and delegated workflow.
- Ensures all quality control assessments are performed as required.
- Takes all reasonable precautions and work in compliance with related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Follows procedures for proper equipment maintenance are completed in accordance with department standards.
- Ensures equipment and instruments are performing in an efficient and effective manner.
- Prepares reports as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
- 0-2 years of related experience.
- Certification from Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).
- Current CPR certificate.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and training.
- Demonstrate effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Have a cheerful, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with others as well as the ability to work independently and treat everyone with respect, dignity, and kindness
