McCain Produce, a Division of McCain Inc, is a leading distributer of potatoes and planting products, including blended fertilizer, crop protection products and produce, with multiple locations in Atlantic Canada and the State of Maine.
We are currently seeking a Potato Truck Driver, Class 3, for our Florenceville location. This position is based out of the Florenceville area with daily work in this region. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for continued employment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required Class 3 driver’s license
- Willing to work evenings and weekends during busy harvesting season
- Ability to work well with supervision and other employees
- Team player with excellent attendance
- Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate ‘safety first’ on a continual basis, following all safety requirements.
- Adaptable to alternate duties as assigned by manager and supervisors.
