WCLC is currently looking to add an Account Representative in the Southeast Jurisdiction of our Video Lottery Division for a 6-month term.
This position is hybrid remote role and will be responsible for the southeast portion of the province while travelling to stakeholders. This division manages the operation of Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) at licensed liquor retailers in the province of Saskatchewan and is looking for an individual who is a self-starter and has a strong proficiency in working independently to meet service delivery targets and deadlines.
The role of Account Representative requires that the incumbent travels to the VLT vendor sites within their assigned jurisdiction, and some overnight travel is required.
The successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and be legally eligible to work in Canada. Candidates will be considered from the communities of Regina and area, Yorkton and area.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Establish and maintain productive, long lasting business relationships with key personnel at VLT retail locations within an assigned territory. Identify retailer needs, issues and opportunities.

Utilize and leverage your professional relationship to advise stakeholders to maximize revenue, optimize product placement, and ensure program objectives are met.

Leverage a collective and collaborative approach to identifying and resolving operational issues
-
Educate and engage retailers to adopt program vision, industry best practices and to positively affect retailer behavior to maximize revenues.

Manage account performance through:
-
- Ownership of optimal VLT floor layouts;
- Strategic terminal positioning and placement;
- Development and delivery of sales reviews;
- Providing enhanced sales analysis and insights;
- VLT Site Contractor trainings;
- Open and transparent communication with all stakeholders of the program.

Create retailer engagement of the value proposition of electronic gaming to drive revenue, traffic, consumer loyalty

Use comprehensive organizational knowledge to appropriately escalate high severity requests.

Establish and enhance relationships with internal and external stakeholders
-
Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications

Post-secondary education in a related field is considered an asset
-
3+ years of client service experience preferred
-
Customer centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service

Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines

Ability to develop and self-manage an optimal vendor site visit schedule
-
Detail oriented with a strong administrative foundation to prioritize responsibilities and tasks

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Able to work both independently and collaboratively

Strong listening skills to facilitate issue resolution

Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proven leadership skills including working with a variety of people at all levels of business

Familiarity with Microsoft Office including Excel

Adaptable to changing work requirements based on stakeholder needs
Who we are
WCLC’s VLT division is contracted by LGS (Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan) to manage and operate VLTs in Saskatchewan. The VLT division operates 4,200 VLTs across the province, and WCLC provides training, installation, and maintenance of the VLTs, as well as a central operating system.
WCLC is the non-profit organization authorized to manage, conduct, and operate lotteries – at retail and online – and other gaming-related activities for the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba as well as the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
