Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Montreal, Quebec, CA, H3B 2N2
Department: F&A Pulp & Paper Ops (FA03)

The location in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is seeking talent to fill the position of Senior Financial Analyst. This job is full-time permanent.
Your challenges:
- Support for pulp and paper mills in systems: SAP, DR, BI, and CDW: production reports (statistics, KPIs);
- Ensure a link between the mills and the head office;
- Consolidate monthly financial reports from about fifteen tissue pulp and paper mills;
- Prepare and analyze the monthly and quarterly financial data of the business unit's mills;
- Participate in the financial forecasting process for all the business unit's mills;
- Prepare presentations for the executive team;
- Identify and seize opportunities to improve various data and results consolidation processes;
- Have a good understanding of the cost allocation system processes and cost per grade in SAP;
- Maintain cost allocation rules and ensure uniformity across the mills;
- Participate in the development of cost systems and BI and BW reports;
- Coordinate and approve the creation of master financial data in SAP and the cost system parameters as well as SAP materials;
- Multiple ad hoc analyses and reports.
Your team:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Costing and Financial Information.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and professional CPA designation obtained or in progress;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and costing;
- Good knowledge of ERP and MRP financial modules (SAP an asset), as well as master data and production.
Your skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables);
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both official languages;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Meticulous and detail-oriented;
- Interest in participating in finding solutions to internal client problems;
- Knowledge of cost management in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
- Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset.
