Salary: $75,000 – $85,000

What You’ll Do
Purpose of the role
The Sourcing Specialist – internally titled Partnership Recruitment Specialist – sits within the partnership recruitment team and is responsible for generating candidate leads for the Partnership Recruitment Team.
As Partnership Recruitment Specialist you will source and speak with optometrists and retail professionals, providing them with an expert overview of the Specsavers Brand and generating interest in ownership (Partnership) opportunities across the province(s) in Canada.
Key Responsibilities

Identifying and agreeing key target lists for each partner vacancies in each province with each partner recruitment manager.

Researching and qualifying candidates against set criteria, for retail and optometry ownership roles (Partners) using industry and internal databases

Generating candidate interest by using a variety of methods (sample list but not exhaustive)

Face to face, meeting with prospects in person, mapping our competitors.

Telephone – calling cold and warm prospects.

Email communications to generate leads for the partner recruitment team.

Social media networking such as LinkedIn to build and nurture your optometry and retail networks.

Regular meeting with the partnership recruitment team to detail progress on lead generation, delivering on bespoke approach/plans for specific “hard to fill” locations.

Work with our recruitment marketing team to ensure we utilise the best channels to advertise our partnership opportunities.

Participate at optometry/opticianry events as required.

Work closely with the clinical and retail recruitment team in ensure that candidate information (optometrists and opticians) is exchanged between the teams for partnership, associate and employed positions.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- Proven experience in sourcing and building talent pipelines, ideally within the health, consumer products, or retail industries
- Strong research skills and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Resilient and driven to meet targets
- Proficient in using CRM and ATS platforms
- Experienced with LinkedIn Recruiter and proficient in database/Boolean search techniques
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation abilities
Nice to have

Experience sourcing senior-level or highly specialized/educated talent

Knowledge of the optometry or optical environment is an asset
