Orthotic Manufacturing Technician (CONTRACT)

Duties and responsibilities

• Design custom handmade orthotics as prescribed by a doctor.
• Ability to use a variety of different tools and or machines.
• Follow direction and focus on output and quality of product.

Qualifications

• Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work as a team or individually.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Well-motivated with an energetic “can-do” attitude
• Problem solving capabilities.

Working conditions

• Dusty, can be noisy and some glue odor
• Personal Protective Equipment required: Safety glasses in grinding area, cut resistance gloves when cutting.

Physical requirements

• May be required to lift approximately 40 lbs., depending on position in Production.
