Relationship building and strategic business growth is a core function of this role, the candidate has an established track record of successfully managing complex accounts and growing business within an existing client base.
As Media Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end management of dedicated media-only clients. That means leading the strategic direction, coordinating internal and external resources, managing day-to-day communications, and ensuring we deliver results that exceed expectations. You will work closely with our media planners, buyers, analysts, and creative team to bring smart, performance-driven campaigns to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary client point of contact for assigned media accounts
- Work closely with media strategists and planners to develop comprehensive media strategies that are aligned to client goals and KPIs
- Oversee campaign execution across digital platforms (Google, Meta, Programmatic, YouTube, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams (buying, analytics, creative, client experience) to ensure campaigns launch on time and meet performance benchmarks
- Analyze and interpret performance data to deliver insightful reports and proactive optimizations
- Identify opportunities to upsell or grow existing accounts through added value and new services
- Manage timelines, budgets, and internal workflows to keep campaigns on track
- Educate and guide clients on media trends, tools, and performance best practices
- Spec sheet development, trafficking, and QA for media campaigns
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of media agency experience in planning/buying and client-facing account management
- Deep understanding of paid digital media buying platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, DV360, LinkedIn Ads, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of how paid, owned, and earned media channels work together to deliver performance
- Familiarity with measurement tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and campaign performance tracking
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate goals into actionable media plans
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — you’re confident in front of clients
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced agency environment and managing multiple accounts simultaneously
- Bonus: Experience in eCommerce, DTC brands, or performance marketing environments
