National Business Development Lead – Beverage/Alcohol
Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Our client is a dynamic company in the beverage and alcohol industry, known for its innovative approach to market expansion and dedication to delivering high-quality products. They are seeking a talented National Business Development Lead based in Vancouver to identify and develop new business opportunities across Canada.
If you are an ambitious professional with deep knowledge of the beverage/alcohol sector, or a track record of success in the CPG market and a possess a passion for building strategic partnerships, we’d love to hear from you. The successful candidate is well positioned to generate highly competitive compensation through our uncapped, lucrative commission program.
This role is best suited for someone who loves autonomy, with flexibility on ‘how you’ want to structure your day to drive results. This is a performance driven business, and our clients preaches more about serving their customer and delivering results than following metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically research, target and prospect new clients through innovative account acquisition tactics to support new revenue stream opportunities
- Identify, develop, and execute business development strategies to drive national growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, partners, and key accounts.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams.
Requirements:
- University degree or Two-Year Diploma in Marketing or Business preferred, but not necessary
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the CPG sector, preferably in alcohol/bev
- Strong understanding of the industry landscape and key players
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with entrepreneurial spirit.
- Can excel in an autonomous & collaborative environment
