We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and inspiring students to develop their language skills. This role involves teaching the English language to students of various ages, preparing lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Stay updated on educational trends and methodologies in language instruction.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- TESL Diploma, and or OCELT.
- Previous teaching experience is a plus but not required; we welcome new educators eager to learn.
- Strong understanding of English grammar, literature, and composition.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with technology in the classroom is advantageous.
