Align Orthodontics has an exciting new full-time opportunity! We are looking for a talented Patient Service Administrator to join our Edmonton and Sherwood Park, Alberta team. Canadian Orthodontic Partners provides support services to Align Orthodontics and our national network of community-based clinics in delivering personalized Orthodontic treatment. We provide an enhanced level of patient care and service experience in our clinics putting patient care above all else. Key Responsibilities:
Manages the new patient process, including:
- New patient requisitions
- Communications with Referral sources
- New patient scheduling and communications
- Obtain insurance approvals
- Patient financial transactions; billing and contracts, collection and insurance
- Daily scheduling management
Financial:
- Secures approval of fees from insurance companies and/or law firms prior to initiating recommended treatment
- Posts charges and/or payments to patient accounts for Patients, TMJ, Medical Legal, Dental Insurance, Section B Insurance, Lawyers
- Prepares and mails patient invoices and statements
- Assists with the organization and photocopy of charts and associated documentation for preparation of Medical Legal reports
- Processes all incoming and outgoing mail
Scheduling Developments:
- As a member of the team:
- Ensure appointments are available and scheduled for the following procedures types:
- Monitor exams
- Re Evals
- Splint therapy treatments
- Work with Team members to develop efficient grids
