ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skill, Experience)
- Grade 12 diploma
- Minimum two years experience in a Health Records department
- Graduate of an approved Medical Office Assistant program from a recognized community college or equivalent
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
- Demonstrated knowledge of computers and use of software.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Electronic document management system (i.e. SolCom)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on client service and customer relations.
- Satisfactory attendance.
