About the role
Tendering Specialist / Spare Parts (Inside Sales) - Full Time - Burnaby, Canada
Join our team within the Services division of Burnaby, BC, Canada as a Customer Support Specialist (Inside Sales & Tendering, Spare Parts). The ideal candidate will work onsite as a member of the Parts Processing Centre.
In this role, activities will include but not be limited to:
- Generating tenders (bids) from the ERP system
- Providing communication to customers and sister locations on order updates
- Follow-up on all open tenders/bids until closure
- Processing of orders through to completion
- Review opportunities in the CRM system
- Present to the customer, opportunities for additional quantities, upgrades, or other add-ons
- Updating ERP system to reflect current client information, equipment details and product pricing
To shine in this role:
- Some experience in equipment manufacturing an asset
- Mechanical Technologist certificate, or related post-secondary education, an asset
- Proficiency in SAP application an asset
- Independently plan and prioritize own work activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
