We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in our fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing staff, handling cash transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
• Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards.
• Assist in cooking and preparing food as needed, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including processing transactions accurately through the POS system.
• Monitor food safety practices and compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, fostering a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with other managers to implement strategies for improving efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.

Skills

• Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management within the restaurant or food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience with cash handling procedures and proficiency in using POS systems.
• Ability to cook and assist in food preparation when required.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Bartending experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.70-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
