JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the receiving and tracking of materials, hand tools and other supplies at our Yard in Fresh way Drive, ON. Often the first point of contact for our company with vendors, and working in support of our field teams, a positive professional customer service attitude is essential.
This role will report directly to the Fleet and Logistics Superintendent.
Location: Clearway's Yard – 69 Fresh way Dr., Concord, ON L4K 1N3
Hours of Operation: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
Compensation range: $ 25-30 per hour
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the receiving and tracking of materials, hand tools and other supplies. Often the first point of contact for our company with vendors, and working in support of our field teams, a positive professional customer service attitude is essential.
- Weekly reporting of materials requisitions and usage
- Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments, ensuring packing slips and other documentation accompanies deliveries
- Pull and distribute materials, tools, or other stock items in order to fill requests
- General maintenance of small tools (cleaning, fixing, testing, preparing)
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins based on size, type, style, color, or product code, etc.
- Assist in tracking and management of equipment
- Load and unload specific equipment and supplies on our trucks and trailers
- Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute
- Operate loader / forklift and other equipment, following all Health & Safety rules and guidelines
- Maintain clean work environment in the warehouse area
- Maintain warehouse security at all times
- Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a computerized inventory system
- Vehicle/heavy equipment detailing as required
- Tow and backup trailer to set up solar panel
- Other duties as assigned.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Minimum Education: High School Graduation Diploma

6-24 months experience in warehouse, yard or related work preferred

Intermediate experience in inventory management software experience preferred

Valid Driver’s License required

Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, snow, rain, etc.

Ability to lift 40-60 pounds
-
Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, etc.
-
Detail oriented and comfortable with technology
-
Literate and fluent in English
-
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada – no work permit sponsorship is available for this position
