Overview:
We seek a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Pool Attendant. Pool Attendants are responsible for upholding cleanliness and hygiene standards in the pool area, in addition to always ensuring the availability of safety equipment in and around the pool area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Warmly greets and accommodates guests with professionalism, promptly addressing their inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- This role entails enforcing regulations and maintaining order in the designated area to proactively ensure safety. It is pivotal in preventing accidents around the pool.
- Maintaining cleanliness and supplies in pool bathrooms, ensuring adherence to posted rules, and confirming the availability and functionality of safety equipment.
- Daily tasks involve cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping the pool deck and surrounding areas, organizing pool furniture, monitoring pool entry and exit, and regulating pool capacity as per state guidelines.
- Conducts regular tests on pool chemicals and adjusts water temperature as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Completion of secondary education (with some high school education required)
- Proficiency in reading and understanding written instructions
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
- First Aid & CPR certification (preferred)
- At least one year of experience in the hotel industry(preferred)
- Ability to lift, bend, and walk
- NLS certification (required)
