Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a Senior Living environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This position is essential for supporting our kitchen staff and enhancing the overall dining experience for our guests.

Duties

• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors.
• Organize and store clean dishes and kitchen equipment properly.
• Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
