Overview
Brilliant Business Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our friendly, fast-paced team in Nanaimo, BC This is a full-time position offering great wages and health benefits for the right person. This role requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and proficiency in accounting software. If you have a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy, we would love to hear from you.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5 + years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Experience with trust accounts
- Familiarity with legal accounting software (such as Clio, LEAP, PC Law, Unity, etc.) is a strong asset
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, bank reconcilitations, A/R, A/P, payroll, government remittances and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, or Sage for efficient financial management.
- Works well independently
