As Canada’s most reliable airline, we're all about offering real value. As we continue to expand our network, increase flight frequencies, and introduce more services, we’re looking for passionate team members to help us in our mission to make air travel accessible for everyone. We know who we are, and we’re confident in our approach—but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.

Your Team:

Join Flair’s Commercial team, where strategic thinking and innovation come together to maximize revenue and customer value. As the Manager, Ancillary Revenue, you’ll be responsible for leading the development and performance of Flair's ancillary product portfolio, including but not limited to baggage, seating, bundles, and priority service, with the goal of increasing total revenue per passenger. This role works cross-functionally with Digital, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Network Planning to design competitive, customer-centric offerings that enhance both the travel experience and Flair’s bottom line.

This role is based on-site at our Vancouver, BC (YVR) office.

A Day in the Life:

  • Oversee the performance of ancillary revenue streams to meet or exceed revenue per passenger targets
  • Optimize pricing strategies and product design using insights from analytics, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Monitor and analyze trading performance, identifying areas for growth and proactively addressing underperformance.
  • Collaborate with Digital Product teams to ensure seamless integration of ancillary products throughout the booking path and customer journey
  • Partner with the Marketing team to enhance product messaging and improve customer communications to increase attachment rates.
  • Leverage market research and customer feedback to guide product development and continuous improvement
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on ancillary performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Align ancillary pricing strategies with capacity planning and seasonal demand in coordination with Revenue Management and Network Planning
  • Lead cross-functional projects to design, test, and implement new ancillary products, including A/B testing and post-launch analysis
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and maintain consistent customer experience across all ancillary offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Role:

The preferred candidate should exemplify Flair's core values of respect, honesty, accountability, and efficiency while demonstrating success in previous roles. Additionally, we are seeking individuals who possess:

  • Education:
    • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial, pricing, or product management role, ideally within the airline, travel, e-commerce, or retail industries.
    • Experience managing and optimizing ancillary or unbundled revenue streams such as baggage, seat selection, or priority services is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and executing pricing strategies to drive revenue and customer value.
    • Experience working cross-functionally with digital, marketing, revenue management, and data science teams to deliver product performance improvements.
    • Previous involvement in customer experience or product journey mapping is an asset.
    • Experience using data analytics tools and A/B testing frameworks to evaluate product performance and guide decisions.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Stronger understanding of commercial strategy, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and turn insights into action.
    • Proficient in analyzing complex data sets to drive pricing, performance, and customer behaviour insights.
    • Collaborative mindset with proven ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Digital, Revenue Management, and Customer Experience.
    • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from concept to implementation while meeting timelines and targets.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas and insights to senior leadership.
    • High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over assigned products and initiatives.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and skills in SQL/Python are considered assets.
  • Requirements:
    • Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
    • Ability to maintain a valid Passport to accommodate work travel.
    • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.

Flair Airlines is Canada's leading low-fare airline and its greenest airline. With an expanding fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft, Flair is growing to serve over 35 cities across North America. Our airline is built for all people, inclusive and friendly, with the critically important mission of providing affordable air travel for all.

Flair is a different kind of airline. For too long, Canadians have been paying too much for too little. It's time to change the way Canadians fly. Our goal is to change the airline industry for the better. We're on a mission to make travel more accessible, more affordable, and more desirable. At Flair, it's not just about the journey. It's about the destination (yes, the dot!) and the experiences that we facilitate for passengers.
