Hours: 30 hours per week, 8-week, Term Position
Location: Yorkton, SK
Start Date: July 7, 2025 to August 29, 2025
The Society for the Involvement of Good Neighbors (SIGN), is seeking 1 Early Years Summer Worker to support the staff, children and families in programs and activities at the SIGN Yorkton Early Years Family Resource Centre.
The successful candidates must have the ability to:
- Assist in the development and implementation of program activities for children and their parents/caregivers;
- Assist in improving the education, health and well-being of the children and families involved;
- Have the technical skills to video and edit online virtual sessions;
- Maintain positive professional boundaries without imposing personal judgements and expectations on families;
- Interact well with children and families;
- Work well with a team as well as independently;
- Manage time and resources well;
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- Be available on evenings and weekends as required.
Qualifications and experience:
The successful applicant must be eligible must:
- Be interested in Early Childhood Education or Education;
- Possess the experience of working with children;
- Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and a safe, clean reliable vehicle with appropriate liability insurance;
- A current and clean RCMP criminal record and vulnerable sector check
