DXP / IPS is seeking an Inventory Administrator who is analytical, has excellent attention to details along with excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal person for this role is someone who can works well with others, who is reliable and can calmly adapt to change.

The Inventory Administrator will work from our office in Sherwood Park, AB

The Inventory Administrator's position will consist of the following duties:

  • Maintain, monitor, ensure the accuracy (correct numbers of supplies and properly functioning equipment) and log of all inventories to and from the field.
  • Monitor office inventory levels.
  • Prepare and load all required inventory for outgoing jobs.
  • Record the quantity, type and value of materials, equipment, and stock on hand, using manual and software inventory systems.
  • Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock.
  • Perform narcotic counts.
  • Manage field laptops, printers, and cell phones.
  • Respond to all inventory requests via phone or email and send out to appropriate location in a timely manner.
  • Review field orders for accuracy and verify that materials, equipment, and stock is available from current stock.
  • Prepare requisition orders to replenish materials, equipment, and stock.
  • Source and obtain price quotations from suppliers and prepare purchase orders.
  • Calculate cost of orders and code invoices to appropriate accounts.
  • Contact suppliers to schedule deliveries, pickups and to resolve shortages, missed deliveries or other issues.
  • Provide quotes for clients.
  • Schedule and ensure all equipment receive their yearly inspections and are in good working order.
  • Orientate New Hires to the medical kits and any inventory relative to their position.
  • Issue coveralls, Hard Hats, Safety Glasses (PPE).
  • File all inventory paperwork accordingly.

Billing

  • Create purchase orders.
  • Code purchase orders to proper clients
  • Match purchase orders and packing slips
  • Submit approved purchase orders to Accounts Payable
  • Create billing excel spreadsheet for medical supplies requested by clients and field orders.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 Years of experience in an administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
