We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting/ Bookkeeper to join our team at Zimmer Air Services Inc on a fixed term contract basis.

Responsibilities

Assist Finance Department with all aspects of the company's financial transactions both payables and receivables

Assist Finance Department in performing bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

Assist Finance Department in processing payroll and maintaining payroll records

Assist Finance Department in preparing and analyzing financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets

Assist Finance Department in conducting account reconciliations to ensure accuracy

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Utilize Sage accounting software maintain financial records
-
Handle journal entries for financial transactions
-Assist with Tax Preparation and quarterly HST
-Assist in year end financial closings
Skills
-
Proficiency in accounting principles and practices

Experience with payroll processing and bank reconciliation

full knowledge of Sage accounting software

Strong understanding of financial concepts and budgeting
-Strong understanding of Tax preparation and regulations
-Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, particularly excel
-Strong technical skills
-Ability to work with a team in a fast paced environment

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
