Foran Mining Corporation (TSX:FOM) is a forward-thinking mining company redefining the industry. We are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at the McIlvenna Bay site working a 14/14 rotation.

As part of the Mechanical Team, the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of mechanical personnel in overseeing and coordinating mechanical maintenance activities and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems and equipment and maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of heavy-duty, BEV, and mechanical technicians, providing guidance, training and performance evaluations.
- Assign tasks to ensure effective use of team resources.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address mechanical issues.
- Ensure reliable, efficient equipment to reduce downtime and boost productivity.
- Improve maintenance processes through continuous improvement.
- Champion a safety-first culture and enforce all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations in all maintenance work.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to manage spare parts inventory.
- Monitor part usage and apply cost-effective inventory strategies.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement timely solutions.
- Facilitate technical training to upskill maintenance staff.
- Stay current with industry trends and maintenance technologies.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other teams.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment history, and schedules.
- Report regularly on equipment performance, costs, and key metrics.
Job Qualifications and Skills:
- Heavy Duty Mechanic Red Seal certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mobile maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisor role
- Strong knowledge of mining equipment, maintenance, and safety standards.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Skilled in CMMS and maintenance-related software.
- Able to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Experience with budget management and cost control in Maintenance Operations.
- Understanding of environmental regulations for mine maintenance.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of 115,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Annual discretionary short term incentive award at a percentage of base salary, rewarding exceptional contributions to team and company success.
