Description Responsible for managing inventory control activities and developing solutions to improve inventory performance figures across the branch network.
Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company
minimizes inventory and maximizes inventory performance across the branch network
Monitor and report (daily/monthly) branch measures to improve performance

On a typical work day, YOU will perform the following tasks:
- Monitor and ensure compliance with company parts policies, review parts levels for management changes, provide data to branches to
- enable them to make better business decisions (including processing branch stock cancellation requests for CAT parts)
- Monitor/adjust DBS system parameters according to business environment
- Review existing reports and tools to identify opportunities for improvement (cycle counts, stock receipts, outstanding documents)
- Communicate with branches and management to resolve outstanding issues and propose appropriate protocol solutions Provide support for Caterpillar Parts Ordering Routine (PIC) and CAT surplus returns.
- Update, monitor and review consignment stock accounts. Ensure they are accurate and up to date by ensuring manual inventories are completed and resolved.
- Analyze and process buy-back requests, including working with branches to ensure parts are received and customer receives correct amount of credit.
Skills Required For This Position
- College diploma in business or office administration combined with 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a parts sales or distribution environment.
