YOUR ROLE: Java/Spring Boot Integration Developer
WORK YOU’LL DO:
As part of the client's decoupled integration architecture, the Java/Spring Boot Integration Developer will play a critical role in building interfaces that support multiple protocols and exchange formats (APIs, file, message, and events) using a Red Hat technology platform. These interfaces will connect the front-end platform with the back-end CRM solution while enabling dual processing of data for the existing platform. The role involves developing, testing, and ensuring successful integration with upstream and downstream systems, as well as replicating data into a data warehouse.
The Java/Spring Boot Integration Developer will collaborate with an established team to co-create end-to-end interfaces between systems, including the creation of agnostic canonical data models to support the designed interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop interfaces leveraging Red Hat technology platforms, Apache Camel, and Spring Boot to support multiple protocols and exchange formats.

Ensure successful integration with upstream and downstream systems.
-
Replicate data into a data warehouse.
-
Collaborate with the team to design and implement agnostic canonical data models.
-
Create technical documentation, including Technical Detailed Designs from business process flows.
-
Configure and tailor technology platforms to meet business and technical requirements.
-
Translate detailed flow charts into coded machine instructions and collaborate with technical personnel in planning programs.
-
Leverage Azure DevOps for code repository and automated build-to-deploy interface code.
-
Perform unit and integration testing of development code to verify accuracy and completeness.
-
Develop synchronous and asynchronous integrations, correcting program errors as needed.

Implement API Management deployment patterns for synchronous integrations using 3Scale and/or Azure API Management
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

Bachelor’s Degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
-
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with the following:
-
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.
-
Expertise in data schema and modeling.
-
Experience developing on container platforms such as Red Hat Openshift (Containerization platform).
-
Minimum 1 year of Cloud-native development experience with Microsoft Azure Application Integration Services (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, etc.)
-
Ability to create technical documentation, including Technical Detailed Designs from business process flows.
-
Experience with Azure DevOps for code repository and automated build-to-deploy processes.
-
Proficiency in unit and integration testing of development code.
-
Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous development of integrations.
-
Familiarity with API Management deployment patterns for synchronous integrations.

Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance

English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with English-speaking stakeholders across Canada. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired in British Columbia as set forth below.
