Role Purpose:
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic sales team.This role is crucial for driving sales operations, managing key account relationships, and supporting administrative duties by leveraging technology. This role will be the point person for our broker partner relationships, will coordinate internal & external projects, assist in prospecting new business opportunities, and represent our brand in the marketplace.
The ideal candidate will be energized by working in a high-growth environment and building the business with a team of veteran salespeople and professional services.
Reports to: VP Sales and Marketing
Responsibilities:
- Sales Operations Management: Act as the primary liaison for La Rocca in project coordination of: Streamlining sales operations processes including finance reconciliation, forecasting, and variance trend analysis, La Rocca broker relationships for the senior sales team maximizing the performance of a diverse group across North America, Acting as point person for the commercial team for forecasting and distribution of samples to close listing gaps and drive sales.
- Data and System Management: Manage system inputs for item setup across platforms such as 1WorldSync and ECC Net. Ensure accurate and timely data handling to support sales operations.
- Product Initiatives Coordination: Coordinate all internal aspects of seasonal product initiatives, collaborating closely with various departments to ensure alignment and execution.
- Assist the Director of Business Development and Key Account Managers (KAMs) in both prospecting new business opportunities and actively managing a portfolio of key accounts.
- Collaborate on strategic planning and implementation of sales strategies to secure and grow business. Employ a team approach to nurture client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnership development."
- Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and resolution of logistical challenges for key accounts.
La Rocca is a high-growth organization and other projects and responsibilities will be assigned as the organization grows.
Knowledge & Skills and Abilities:
- Proven two (2) to three (3) years of related experience in key account management, sales operations, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to the food manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across team boundaries.
- Proficient in using CRM software and data management systems such as 1WorldSync and ECC Net.
- Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or relevant commercial field.
