Job Information
Are you someone who likes to develop contracts, research, evaluate and train? If so, this position may be ideal for you! The Contracts Administrator facilitates and supports the procurement of contracts for the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA). The role is responsible for providing administrative support to the contracting process for the NTHSSA and assists the Manager in supporting the Program Managers through the contract process, determining if the requests will be sole sourced, or competitively tendered.
This position may be called upon to participate in the evaluation of Requests For Proposals (RFPs). They will also be responsible for validating and recording data, researching, developing reports, providing advice, coordinating training, responding to inquiries, maintaining contract files, and troubleshooting any contract-related issues.
Key Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of a Diploma in Business Administration
- Two (2) years of related experience
Or
- Completion of a Certificate in Business Administration
- Three (3) years of related experience
A related education may be considered such as Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Contract Management and Administration in the public or private sector combined course work through the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) of Canada.
