We’re currently hiring a full-time Gym Manager for our Highstreet Mall location.
Position Overview:
As Gym Manager, you’ll lead the team, drive membership growth, uphold cleanliness standards, and ensure every member enjoys a consistently positive and professional experience. You’ll oversee day-to-day operations and help shape the success of your club.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Culture
- Foster a positive, productive, and cooperative team environment
- Inspire and motivate the team through strong leadership and leading by example
- Hire, train, schedule, and manage staff to ensure top performance
- Conduct performance reviews and take disciplinary action when necessary
Sales & Outreach
- Monitor and meet/exceed monthly sales targets
- Guide the team in refining sales processes and KPIs
- Drive new memberships via tours, referrals, B2B outreach, and guest passes
- Build strong community ties through local partnerships, lead boxes, and events
- Track and present weekly sales reports to management
Operations & Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment
- Handle member concerns with empathy and effective decision-making
- Oversee gym cleanliness and ensure equipment is well-maintained throughout the day
- Plan and promote special in-club events to drive engagement
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s in business preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the fitness industry; 2+ years in management
- Proven ability to drive sales through outreach and community engagement
- Strong customer service, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience managing budgets, payroll, and operational performance metrics
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using gym software systems
- Highly motivated, professional, and team-oriented
