IT Support Analyst (On-Site) – Brampton, ON

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled IT Support Analyst to join our Brampton team. This is an on-site position critical to maintaining our IT infrastructure across both office and plant environments and providing remote support to users across Canada and the U.S.

Position Summary

The IT Support Analyst will serve as a primary technical resource, responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role plays an essential part in ensuring system reliability, user productivity, and data security across all facilities. The successful candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams, contributing to the maintenance, enhancement, and security of enterprise-wide IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide first and second-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues (locally and remotely).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows OS, Office 365, and general application and hardware problems.
  • Support remote plants in the U.S. and Canada via phone, remote access tools, and email.
  • Be available for on-call support outside regular business hours to address urgent IT issues and ensure business continuity.

System Administration & Infrastructure Support

  • Administer and maintain Active Directory and Azure AD, or similar systems accounts and policies.
  • Support software installations, updates, and system configurations.
  • Monitor and maintain servers, workstations, printers, and cloud-based services.
  • Maintain and track company assets (hardware, software licenses, etc.).
  • Assist in managing backup and disaster recovery solutions.

Network Support

  • Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN performance, internet outages, network failures, and connectivity issues.
  • Support and maintain VoIP systems, firewalls, and security configurations.

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard infrastructure and data.
  • Collaborate with leadership on cybersecurity initiatives and compliance standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging IT trends and security protocols to ensure best practices

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Document support cases, technical procedures, and infrastructure changes.
  • Create and maintain user-friendly technical manuals, training materials, and SOPs.

Project & Vendor Coordination

  • Assist with planning and execution of IT system upgrades and implementations.
  • Work with external vendors and service providers to resolve specialized issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in an IT support or systems analyst role within a multi-site environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Windows OS, Office 365 Suite (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), and Intune.
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, network fundamentals, and endpoint management.
  • Experience working with cloud and on-premises hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as JIRA or similar platforms (JIRA preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on root cause resolution.
  • ERP system implementation experience
  • WMS and Manufacturing experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, user guides, or training content.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting or programming is considered an asset.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday - 8:00 to 5:00 p.m.
