The opportunity:
The Strategic Data and Accreditation Coordinator plays a vital role in overseeing key functions related to the school’s accreditation, strategic plan monitoring, and external reporting requirements. This includes managing the collection, analysis, and submission of data for accreditation reviews, strategic initiatives, and external rankings. Accuracy and integrity of data are central to this role, as it directly supports decision-making and long-term planning efforts within the School.
In addition to data-related responsibilities, the Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the unit and contributes to a variety of projects focused on continuous improvement and capacity building. The role fosters collaboration across different units and supports initiatives that enhance the overall effectiveness and strategic alignment of the School’s operations.
The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
- Undergraduate degree is required.
- Two years of related/equivalent experience is required.
- Experience managing databases and/or managing and using data for strategic decision-making is preferred.
- Experience with strategic planning and the collection/dissemination of performance metrics (e.g. KPIs, OKRs, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience with administering or contributing to the design of continuous improvement and/or quality-assurance processes is an asset.
- Familiarity with the University's purpose and structure would be an asset.
- Familiarity with postsecondary education accreditation standards and processes (ideally specific to AACSB, but experience with other accrediting bodies and processes) is also an asset.
- Project management experience is an asset.
- An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Intermediate Excel skills required; advanced Excel skills and other data analytic skills would be an asset.
- Must be analytical, conscientious, accurate and precise, paying close attention to detail for processes where reliability and completeness of data are critical.- Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
- Tact, discretion and judgment required, given that the position involves access to confidential information and personal/sensitive employee data is required.
- Ability to use or learn technology including Microsoft Forms, Microsoft PowerAutomate, and Qualtrics and/or other survey software is required.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, using judgment to make appropriate decisions, and knowing when to involve others in decision-making is required.
- Ability to prioritize effectively among simultaneous priorities and tasks is required.
- Satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
