The UGDSB employs a team of approximately 4,000 dedicated staff who serve more than 35,000 students attending a variety of programs across 65 elementary and 11 secondary schools as well as continuing education and adult learning centres in the counties of Dufferin, Wellington, and the City of Guelph. The UGDSB covers the ancestral and treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Six Nations of the Grand River, and Saugeen Ojibway Nation.

THE****OPPORTUNITY
The UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team for a permanentpart-timeopportunity in the capacity of SpeechLanguagePathologist, reporting to the ManagerofCommunication,Language&SpeechServices. This is a 10- month position (yearly from Sept. – June following the school year calendar) to commence September 2, 2025.
**Location:**Various locations within the Board
- school location/geographical area cannot be guaranteed in perpetuity. School location/geographical area are subject to change based on student and system needs.
Salary Range: Base salary: $78,219 - $98,447 (based on a 1.0 FTE full-time annual salary, wage rate effective September 1, 2025), plus applicable vacation pay, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act
- Labour market adjustment of 6.0% to be applied to base salary; salary****range inclusiveofmarketadjustmentis**$82,912****-$104,354per****annum**(based on a 1.0 FTE full-time annual salary, wage rate effective September 1, 2025), plus applicable vacation pay, in accordance with the Employment Standards Act
- labour market adjustment may fluctuate based on local market
BoardInformation:**10 months; permanent, **parttime; Professional Student Services Personnel
Responsibilities
- Provides a range of services to the K-12 population, with an emphasis on students with communication disorders in K-2 who are at risk for academic challenges.
- This service is available through an S-LP/mediator team offering a range of direct and indirect approaches.
- Works collaboratively with other UGDSB professionals and educators to support students' communication skills.
ExperienceandQualifications

Speech-Language Pathologist Master's degree or equivalent; Registration with CASLPO

Applicants should be highly skilled, creative, flexible, enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills

Applicants should enjoy problem solving independently and within a team framework

Experience in a school setting with a consultative model would be preferable

Experience working with and supervising supportive personnel would be an asset

Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required
