We are looking for a hard working quality assurance manager for a CNC production machine shop. Successful candidates should have the following qualities:

• Ability to program CMM machines (PC-DMIS)
• Strong attention to detail
• A leader in organizing their work
• Broad knowledge of various measuring instruments used in machine shop
• Knowledge of measuring various threads
• Deep understanding of API Q1 and ISO 9001 is an asset, but not required
• Ability to create and follow quality control procedures
• Friendly and works well in a team based environment
• Ability to manage working in a fast paced environment
• Ability to operate a forklift

Job responsibilities include:

• Daily measuring of finished product (with measuring instruments and CMMs)
• First-off inspections
• Managing and maintaining the quality control system
• Maintaining quality records
• Measuring instrument calibrations
• Working closely with a production manager on product priorities
• Resolving quality control issues with customers
• Preparing products for shipping
• Shipping and receiving duties, including doing occasional deliveries to customers
• Maintaining work area organization and cleanliness

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
