Role Description
This is a part time/full-time, on-site role for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre, located in Ottawa, ON. The technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, following safety protocols, and monitoring patients during procedures. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, adhering to radiation safety standards, and collaborating with medical staff to interpret results and assist in diagnosing and treating patients.
Qualifications
- CAMRT/CMRITO
- Experience in Radiation Safety and Nuclear Medicine
- Knowledge of Radiopharmaceuticals and Medicine
- Strong technical skills in operating imaging equipment
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a cardiovascular setting is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field
