Client Services Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Client Services team, conduct initial assessments and develop personalized care plans for new clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and their families to ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Supervise and support the caregiving team, providing guidance and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals, therapists, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Manage client records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Handle client inquiries and address concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Providing emotional support to our caregiver team, our clients and their families
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and evaluation of caregivers.
  • As required, assist and/or lead presentations at various facilities.
  • As required, be backup on care shifts when caregivers are unavailable.
  • Build and nurture positive relationships with stakeholders within the senior care community.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and client-centered care within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial laws, regulations, and Senior Helpers policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within the senior care industry.
  • HCA designation would be considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of senior care practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc)
  • Experience with WellSky client management software would be an asset.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant or similar program
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Negative TB test completed in the past 90 days
  • A negative Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check issued in the past 90 days
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work various days/hours, including evenings and weekends
