Island Health’s Division of Neurology is interested in recruiting Neurologists with excellent General Neurology skills. Additionally, we have opportunities to work within many of the sub-specialty areas in our hospital based clinics. We are happy to receive applications from any sub-specialist Neurologists wanting to bring their expertise to our community. Expectation of the successful candidate(s) will include a hospital-based inpatient general neurology practice, including full participation in the on-call schedule, and establishing an independent office practice.
Victoria is an acute stroke referral centre. We have access to full intensive care, neurosurgical and radiology specialties. Our program offers sub-specialty care in stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neuro-ophthalmology, movement disorders, neuro-muscular and neuro-behavioral disorders. We work closely as a collaborative group and are seeking engaged team players.
