Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Public Health

The School of Public Health invites applications from qualified individuals for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in public health. This position includes teaching, scholarly activity, and administrative work. This position involves the delivery of basic and advanced public health graduate courses in the professional and thesis degree programs and in the new Graduate Certificate Programs. The preferred candidate should possess expertise and experience in substantive public health areas, and have an established track record or potential for developing a strong program of research, with experience supervising graduate students in PhD and Masters levels.

We seek candidates who possess a PhD in substantive area(s) of public health including Public Health Systems and Leadership, or Social Justice and Health equity. In addition, we seek individuals with a track record that includes experience working in public health, ability to develop a nationally and internationally recognized research program in public health supported by grant funding and peer-reviewed publications; supervision of graduate students and several years of experience in teaching in relevant areas. The successful candidate will use a collaborative approach to help ensure the success of School’s programs, and lead in the development of a new courses, and/or certificate and degree programs.

Salary band for this position are as follows: Assistant Professor: $110,489-$139,049.
