We are looking for a driven Marketing Coordinator to help execute Indaba’s brand vision. In this role, you’ll manage the marketing calendar and support a wide range of marketing, graphic design, and branding projects across our wholesale and retail channels.
The ideal candidate is passionate about home décor, thrives on bringing ideas to life, and is energized by detail-oriented work. You’re a skilled multitasker who loves visual storytelling, meets deadlines with confidence, and brings innovative solutions to everything you do.
This role is best suited for someone who takes initiative, enjoys working independently, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. You’ll work closely with Indaba’s Creative Director and Customer Service Team and serve as the go-to person for all marketing communications.

About You
You are:

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the marketing calendar, ensuring projects and campaigns are delivered on time
- Plan, schedule, and execute B2B and B2C email marketing campaigns
- Design and produce digital and print materials (catalogues, ads, sales tools, webinar assets)
- Respond to evolving business needs by creating timely marketing content on demand
- Support content planning, product launches, and merchandising on our B2B and B2C websites
- Manage social media platforms, including scheduling content, creating Reels, and writing captions in our brand voice
- Liaise with our digital marketing agency to provide campaign content and review performance
- Leverage AI tools to draft product descriptions, blogs, and other marketing content
- Assist with styling and content capture during photoshoots, including travel to offsite locations
- Occasionally travel to merchandise showrooms
- Support daily marketing operations and general creative tasks as needed
- Note: This is a dynamic role and responsibilities may evolve over time to support team and company priorities.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in marketing, communications, design, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in a marketing or creative role
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)
- Strong design sensibility and an eye for layout, typography, and visual storytelling
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and open to learning new platforms (CRM/ERP)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently, stay focused, and manage time effectively
Bonus Points For
- Experience in the home décor, lifestyle, or retail industry
- Familiarity with Shopify, Mailchimp, social media scheduling tools, SEO, or digital ads (Google/Meta)
