Project Control Officer - Senior: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Project Control Officer - Senior for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
Project Control Officer - Senior - Job Description: The Senior Project Control Officer will support the Commercial Bank Delivery team by managing three Digital portfolios. This role involves project administration, financial tracking, and risk analysis to ensure efficient operations through various project management tasks.
Project Control Officer - Senior - Responsibilities:
- Manage general project administration tasks to support project delivery.
- Oversee financial management and tracking for various projects.
- Provide support in the investigation, analysis, and documentation of portfolio risks.
- Develop and create presentations and Forum decks, liaising with program/project managers for input.
- Submit and track portfolio change and exemption requests along with necessary approvals.
- Contribute to the implementation of improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for project resources.
Project Control Officer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong organization and project management capabilities.
- Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking with creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels of seniority.
Project Control Officer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a financial institution is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Project Control Officer - Senior – Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension.
Project Control Officer - Senior - Start Date: ASAP.
Project Control Officer - Senior - Assignment Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 4 days in the office per week.
